ABOUT
Olivia is every defense attorney stereotype you've ever heard. She's very outgoing and talkative, but there's no hiding a certain underlying smugness to her every word. In some ways she can even come off as juvenile. She's an energetic speaker who has to have the last word, even if it's superficial nonsense. A sorority queen who never grew up. But more importantly, when it comes to her work, she is completely and utterly ruthless. She's earned a good reputation with both the rich and the criminal underworld, as well as the various places the two overlap. She loves what she does, and what she does is get the bad guys off the hook. She's an absolute snake, but she's a snake who will keep you out of jail. If the cops are breathing down your neck, and you're not a total deadbeat, it couldn't hurt to see what she can do.
FRIENDS
Truth be told, Olivia doesn't keep many true friends. The number of people she keeps close could be counted on exactly zero fingers. That said, she can keep any number of acquaintances. They might be clients, or they might be people she employs. Or maybe they're people she's even met outside of business. She's just extroverted enough to make it happen. But don't expect anything like a true connection. See, being Olivia's friend is like hanging out with a classic Bond villain. She'll chat, she'll laugh, she might even flirt. She might take you drinking, and you'll find there's no end to her small talk. But there's always an underlying slipperiness, like she's waiting to unhinge her jaw and swallow you whole. There are a few people she might truly, wholeheartedly respect (without them paying her, at least,) but such are few and her overall attitude is unlikely to change anyway.
Give me scumbags, or just anyone looking for a night on the town with a little more intrigue than is necessary. Or, see below.
ENEMIES
Oh, she'll have a lot of these. Here's the thing though: with a few nuanced exceptions, Olivia treats her friends and her enemies pretty much identically. Always with the smiles, and the small talk. She's even more inclined to flirt with these, if she feels she can either rattle or annoy them. She will ridicule you, but there's a good chance she would do this to her friends anyway. Keep in mind this is all outward, of course. She has opinions on everyone she meets, and if she doesn't like you, you will find yourself on the receiving end of some serious passive aggression at times. A lot less passive if you're in court. She likes what she does and she does what she likes, and that includes crucifying anyone who's ever crossed her in front of an audience.
Give me rivals, law enforcement, and disgruntled relatives of victims who've had their offender go free. Or see above.
ROMANCE
To give my usual preface, I rarely if ever plot endgame ships ahead of time. If you want to propose something I will probably try it, but it doesn't mean I'll stick with it. I like my relationships natural and free-range.
That all said, I'm not sure I'm particularly interested in this at all re: Olivia. She's flirty and not adverse to sleeping around (though she DOES have standards,) but like an actual lovey-dovey you-are-my-girlfriend relationship? Ehhhhh. Sexual/Romantic tension is fine and sometimes expected, but she's not here to go steady. It's just not her lifestyle.
